Michael Cerveris (and Gibson) Fan Community
Hi, I'm new here, blah blah blah. This community seems a teensy bit quiet, so even though I'm not bearing pictures, I hope I can ramble about Michael a bit in like-minded company.
(My mom has been shouting at me from downstairs to come watch Orlando Bloom on "The Tonight Show," and I've been making noncommital answers while wishing I could yell back, "Shh, I'm busy ogling a 45+ bald man in drag," without her completely freaking out.)
Anyway, I have this relatively interesting trait of having vivid dreams filled with celebrity cameos and remembering them in great detail. Michael has shown up in them but, alas, in a depressingly platonic way. The most recent one, which can be read in full here at my journal, included two Michael-hugs as well as singing and guitar-playing, and I have to say it was one of the best dreams I've had in a long time, despite the disasters that also occurred in the dream. (Michael also saved my life and was well-dressed in the dream.)
I know I also had dreams about Michael shortly before seeing Sweeney. I'm a CSI fan, and had only found out about a week before my NYC trip that Michael played Syd Goggle. I remembered that, even the first time I saw that episode, his voice struck me, and that's always been one of the creepiest CSI killers in my mind. Needless to say, I went back and watched it on DVD, and then I proceeded to have creepy dreams about Syd Goggle for about three days straight. Then I went to see Sweeney and met Michael at the stage door...and told him, in my annoying habit of babbling at the stage door, that I loved him in CSI and his performance had given me freaky dreams for three nights straight. Darling that he is, he smiled and thanked me for the compliments.
Please tell me I'm not the only one to embarass myself like this. Or dream about Michael.
